Adults learn a language differently from children. They need not games and songs but a concrete result: to speak fluently in meetings, to understand partners from other countries, to watch films without translation, or simply to feel confident while travelling. It is precisely for such goals that language courses for adults abroad have been created.
The main difference from school programmes is full immersion without stepping away from real life. You live in the country of the language, hearing it every day in shops, on public transport, in cafes. And at the same time you learn using methods that deliver rapid progress: conversation clubs, business case studies, discussions of the news and current topics. A typical 2–4 week course can move your language off «dead centre» in a way that years of evening classes at home cannot.
Another important advantage is an environment of like-minded people. Around you there will be adults just like you from different countries: engineers, doctors, managers, entrepreneurs. Everyone has come to learn, so no one is afraid of making mistakes, and conversations during the breaks turn into extra practice. On top of that, it is excellent networking, which is sometimes more valuable than the lessons themselves.
General conversation course (General English / General language) — 20–25 lessons per week. The focus is on everyday communication, expanding vocabulary and overcoming the language barrier. Suitable for any level — from beginner to advanced.
Business language (Business language) — for work: negotiations, correspondence, presentations, industry-specific vocabulary (finance, marketing, logistics). Real-world business case studies are often added.
«Language plus profession» courses — a combination of language learning with a professional internship or a narrow specialisation (medical, legal, IT English). They provide a double benefit.
Intensive course (30+ lessons per week) — for those who need to raise their level as quickly as possible. It usually includes morning classes and afternoon practical workshops. A heavy workload, but fast results too.
Courses for couples / 50+ — programmes with a more relaxed schedule, excursions and a cultural programme. Suitable for those who want to combine study with a holiday.
